TPS Quiz Night Sees Record Participation Across the UK and Ireland

The Transport Planning Society (TPS) is thrilled to announce the resounding success of the 2024 TPS Quiz, which saw around 600 participants come together across 13 cities for an evening of friendly competition and fundraising.

For the third consecutive year, the winner of the Quiz hailed from the Republic of Ireland, with The National Trivia Authority claiming the top spot.

Beyond the excitement of the quiz itself, the event also raised over £1500 for Transaid and a variety of local charities, reinforcing the generosity and community spirit of transport planners nationwide.

The TPS extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the Regions and Nations Leads who made this event possible. A special thank you goes to Liz Richardson and Paul Froes, who have dedicated 10 years to leading the Yorkshire and Humber region and stepped down following this year’s event. Their commitment and enthusiasm have played a crucial role in making the TPS Quiz such a cherished tradition.
