TPP success for TPS Aotearoa New ZealandJo TPS

Jo Draper has just been awarded the Transport Planning Professional (TPP) and chartered title.  Jo has been working as a transport planning professional for over twenty years, in New Zealand and formerly in the UK.  She is currently working in Wellington, NZ for the NZ-based private consultancy, Abley, and previously worked for Waka Kotahi, the NZ Transport Agency.  Jo was the first in a pilot group in New Zealand to be awarded TPP through the Senior Route, and only the second outside the UK to use this TPP pathway.

Jo is a founder member and committee member for TPS Aotearoa New Zealand, and has come through as a result of the TPP international pilot, jointly run by TPS and CIHT.  Together with her colleagues she is now actively working to promote the TPP qualification in New Zealand.

Keith Buchan, TPS Skills Director said:

"Congratulations to Jo for her achievement, we welcome her to the growing community of transport planners who have completed TPP and now also qualify for the chartered title: CTPP.  It’s particularly encouraging to see the work done by the TPS group which has enthusiastically embraced the TPP international pilot and is now bearing fruit.  We look forward to many more following Jo’s excellent example and achieving TPP in the near future, both through Senior and Standard routes.”
