South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority becomes a TPS Public Sector Partner

We are thrilled to announce that the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority has joined us as a public sector partner. On joining the programme, SYMCA said: 

South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority is pleased to join the Transport Planning Society as a Public Sector Partner. 

We strongly support the Society’s mission to facilitate, develop and promote best practice and innovation in transport planning. Like the Society, we are committed to supporting the development of transport planning professionals, encouraging more people into the profession and improving transport planning policy and practice overall.

With increased devolution and major programmes such as bus franchising, mass transit renewals and the launch of the South Yorkshire People’s Network, this is an exciting time for transport in South Yorkshire. We look forward to working with partners across the industry to deliver the best possible outcomes for our region.
