Over 40 Transport Planning professionals form new TPS Policy Panel

TPS policy directors Mark Frost and Lisa Martin recently asked for expressions of interest to join a new TPS Policy Panel.  We had a great response with over 40 experienced transport planners coming together under five sub-groups to explore contemporary issues in the industry:

• Active Travel & Micromobility
• Influencing Travel Demand
• Rail, Bus & Freight
• Governance, Business Case and Modelling & Appraisal
• Development & Land use planning

The Panel gathered at the ICE on Transport Planning Day to discuss their workplan for 2025. Over the course of the next 12 months, we'll be looking for each of these groups to assist the Society in responding to consultations, but also to generate one original piece of thought leadership. We’ll confirm those topics in our January newsletter, so you know what’re working on.
