Many congratulations to Maya Hodgson from TPS skills partner KMC who is one of the first to achieve Transport Planning Technician status and can now use the post nominal TPTech.

This is the first step on the transport planning qualifications pathway and will give her a head start on the TPS Professional Development Scheme (PDS).  She can then progress to IncTP and TPP.

Maya said:

“I'm happy to have achieved the TPTech qualification and have made my first official step towards being a Chartered Transport Planner. I'm excited to continue developing professionally as part of the TPS Professional Development Scheme"

KMC Associate Director, Elliot Read added:

“We’re delighted Maya has achieved the TPTech qualification. This recognition reflects the breadth of Maya’s competence as a Transport Planner, her commitment to professional development, and the high standard of work she consistently delivers for our clients at KMC”.

Keith Buchan, TPS Skills Director said:

"We are very excited to see the first examples of our new qualification coming through this summer and congratulate Maya for her achievement.  We look forward to supporting her through the PDS and on to TPP.  It’s great to see the first tangible results of our ongoing working partnership with KMC.  We also look forward to more transport planners from KMC following Maya’s excellent example and achieving the full range of transport planning qualifications offered by TPS.”
