TPM is the annual meeting place for all transport planners, highway engineers and urban transport designers. Practitioners, policy makers and academics will present numerous, topical papers over the course of the two days, enabling lively debates, networking and the dissemination of the latest thinking across the profession. Now in its 18th year, TPM is the must attend event for any transport professional!

This year, the transport event of the summer will take place at the University of Greenwich.

Transport Planning Society is happy to support 18thAnnual Transport Practitioners’ Meeting, scheduled to take place this September.

For 18 years, TPM has brought transport practitioners together to debate, share and engage.  To think critically and be empowered to make transport a force for good.  This year more than ever, TPM will provide a home for the profession, an arena to find common solutions, to ensure that we can emerge from this crisis primed as a profession of ‘superheroes’ to build a world that is better than the one we had before.

PTRC is proud to announce that TPM will be held on September 2nd and 3rd using an exciting online platform which we have tailored to ensure that #2020TPM will be the best one yet. Participants will be able to engage with 130 dynamic speakers over 2 days, debate will be facilitated in dedicated break out rooms, there will be a virtual exhibition area, Keynotes delivered ‘on stage’ and of course the annual awards.  What’s more, you no longer have to juggle sessions, as all presentations will be recorded and available following the event.

Moreover, unlike many we’re passing on all cost savings, reducing ticket prices by as much as 66%, so that #2020TPM can be accessible to as many people as possible.  This means that you can benefit from a full two day conference for as little as £75 per day.  Bookings are now available online.

TPM is supported by the Transport Planning Society which also sponsors two awards presented at the TPM Awards Dinner including Best Paper at the Conference by a Young Professional and Transport Planner of the Year.
