The recent guidance ‘Better planning, better transport, better places’ by the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation makes a number of recommendations for a more sustainable approach to transport within spatial planning. The report also recognises London as having some of the best examples of doing this in the country.

This interactive event, organised by the London Regional Representatives for the Transport Planning Society, will give you the chance to debate and explore how transport planning in London can build upon this position of strength to do things even better. The themes to be discussed include development plans, future visions, managing new developments, and agile planning.

The event is free to all TPS and CIHT members. To book your place visit the Eventbrite page and for more details, contact London@tps.org.uk.

Venue: 55 Broadway, London, SW1H 0DB – entrance in St. James’ Park Station. Last chance to visit the iconic building before TfL vacate the premises in October!
