Examining individual priorities for investment in walking infrastructure

Join us for this lunchtime webinar where Professor Dimitris Potoglou (Cardiff University) will present key findings from some of his latest studies examining how people prioritise active travel infrastructure investment using a best–worst scaling approach. He will introduce the instrument developed by his team to capture public preferences for walking infrastructure improvements and share insights from its application across a large UK-wide sample. He will also reflect on related studies, including work examining public discourse around active travel and interventions such as Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs).
