Five Bursary papers were submitted on time (by 31st December 2017) for assessment by the TPS Board. £500 bursaries are on offer, plus a further £250 for the “Bursary of the Year”

The Bursarians have been working on their research and analysis since the summer of 2017, all on themes related to integrated transport and land-use planning. The five papers are from :

Guilio Ferrini (Sustrans) - From Public Transport to Active Travel : Lessons from Canary Wharf

Mathew Parker – The Influence of Railway Services on Vehicle Ownership at New Settlements

Shona Rawlings (Peter Brett) – Sustainable Travel at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow

Elliot Read (Vectos) – Integrating Commercial Development with existing Sustainable Transport

Elliot Reid (AECOM) – Designing Streets : Does it Increase Active Travel?

The Bursarians will shortly present their work to TPS Directors and the “Bursary of the Year” will be announced later in January 2018.
