TPS offers its warmest congratulations to Professor Peter Jones of the Transport Studies Group at UCL on his OBE awarded in the New Year Honours list. Peter has been a long term supporter  of TPS since the beginning  and has given regular key note lectures on various topics over the years at our events. John Dales, Chair of TPS said "It is great to see a leading academic and supporter of TPS being honoured in this way. The honour is not only fully deserved by Peter, but also raises the profile of transport planning and the profession in the UK."
