You will be at ease communicating complex economic and appraisal concepts and analysis to a diverse range of audiences. In this role you will have the opportunity to make use of your skills and experience while simultaneously growing in the role. You will have a diverse workload that will include overseeing the creation of appraisal and value for money evidence for schemes both large and small in a devolved environment, delivering Metrolink patronage and revenue forecasts, supporting strategy development through the application of analytical tools and techniques to create a robust evidence base – and all the while, helping to expand individual and collective knowledge and capabilities within your team. In this regard, you will have opportunities to work with internationally renowned academics and experts as we seek to broaden our analytical capabilities, particularly in the areas of understanding future year uncertainty associated with disruptive technologies and incorporation of that understanding within our approach to analysis and appraisal.
