DaSTS sets out a series of goals and challenges for the transport networks, with clear roles for national Government and regional agencies in developing a long-term strategy for these transport networks.

Atkins have been appointed by 4NW, the Regional Leaders Board along with the Northwest Regional Development Agency to assist in the process of determining strategic priorities and a robust work programme of studies to December 2010.

We are delighted to invite Dave Colbert from 4NW and Ross Glendenning from Atkins to provide an overview of the DaSTS process along with the work programme that has been submitted to the Department for Transport.
