TPS welcomes Transport Scotland as our latest Stakeholder Member joining the long list of transport consultants and authorities already enjoying membership benefits including access to the Professional Development Scheme (PDS)

Alison Irvine, Director of Transport Strategy and Analysis, Transport Scotland said:

‘Transport Scotland is delighted to be a stakeholder member of the Transport Planning Society (TPS).

‘As the national transport agency for Scotland, we are committed to providing opportunities for our workforce to develop and our membership with TPS will help us enhance our graduate programme offering, through the society’s Professional Development Scheme.

‘The scheme will now provide our transport planning graduates with a route to a professional qualification, helping them to gain the skills and experience they need to progress their careers.’

Keith Buchan, TPS Director of Skills said

”A warm welcome to Transport Scotland who are known for their innovative work in developing strategy and appraisal.  We look forward to strengthening our relationship and to helping their young transport planners develop their skills for the future.”
