A record number of people tuned into to listen to Susan Claris, Transport Planner of the Year 2019, give the TPS Annual Lecture "Transport planning for a more diverse and active future" on 13 May.

Susan, an Associate Director at Arup in London,  has worked hard to raise the profile of our profession, including coining the original idea for Transport Planning Day. In her lecture, she reflects on the importance of diversity and who we are designing for and challenge us to do more for active travel, especially walking.
