The Return of the 20-Week Evening Lecture Series

This September, PTRC's 20 Week Principles of Traffic and Transport Evening Lecture Series begins in seven locations across the Canada, Ireland and the UK.

Visit www.ptrc-training.co.uk/Training/Book-a-Course to register today!

The 20-Week Evening Lecture Series was developed by PTRC nearly fifteen years ago as a time (and cost!) inexpensive way to broaden general knowledge about the profession of Transport Planning.

For the Markham series, we have partnered with Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI), the Toronto chapter of the Institute of Transport Engineers (ITE), the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in North America (CILTNA), and the City of Markham to promote and deliver a fantastic course.

Providing a robust introduction to the broad array of activities transport planners undertake, this series is geared towards young practitioners, especially recent recruits and those in graduate development schemes, working on highways, traffic and transport projects. It is also suited for more seasoned practitioners currently working in specialised areas, who wish to broaden their knowledge of the full range of highways, traffic and transport projects.

Professional Development Hours

Delegates who attend 80% of courses will receive a certificate of participation and 20 CPD hours.

For anyone following the Transport Planning Society’s PDS route to professional qualification, the series offers a simple pathway to achieving many of its knowledge and awareness objectives.

In Canada, OPPI members may claim participation in this event as Learning Units under the Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) program. Please consult the OPPI CPL Program Guide for more information.
