Join the North West Region on Thursday 12 November 2020 from 1230-1400 for an online event as part of Transport Planning Day 2020 to discuss "The Future of Freight: COVID-19 and the role of e-mobility in building back better"

For this online event TPS will be partnering with the University of Salford to discuss topics related to the Transport Planning Day 2020 theme of climate change, including the impact of the pandemic on e-commerce and LGV emissions, the role of e-cargo bikes in encouraging sustainable freight, and Transport for Greater Manchester’s programme to roll-out a network of e-hubs to promote shared and electric mobility.

Speakers for the event include:

  • Dr Luke Blazejewski and Dr Graeme Sherriff, Healthy Active Cities, University of Salford, and Dr Nick Davies, Glasgow Caledonian University
  • Sarah Kumeta, Senior Innovation Officer and e-hubs Project Manager, TfGM
