Following Sir Peter Hall's death in summer 2014, the IGU's Transport and Geography Commission and Urban Commission decided to produce a book acknowledging his outstanding contribution for over 50 years to Regional Planning and Geography. This book is written by geographers who worked with him or who were widely inspired by him. Both e-book and print copy versions are now available.
