Strategy & Planning Assistant

6 Month Secondment / Fixed Term Contract

Salary:  £23,000 - £24,000 plus excellent benefits

Location: Birmingham Baskerville House

The Strategy and Planning Assistant works across the team to support its delivery of strategic planning and development, and with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

This role is a great opportunity to come in and learn about the team, function and company with plenty of opportunities to learn and develop.

The team are currently working in a number of projects which include the Midlands Rail Hub, HS2 and Transport for the north

Accountabilities

The role provides comprehensive administrative, technical and analytical support to the System Operator team, including:

• Managing cross-industry groups to maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships, providing data and information as required
• Document control – managing the creation and maintenance of plans, strategies and policies
• Collating and analysing data to support the wider team priorities and to deliver continuous improvement
• Working as part of teams developing strategies and choices for our railways
