We are looking for a dynamic individual with extensive experience in delivering and managing Transportation projects involving economic appraisal and cost benefit analysis to lead projects and key work streams, working as part of a wider team analysing and appraising the impact of transport schemes and preparing business cases to justify investment.

Looking at complex projects from every angle, you’ll help our customers to find the best solutions to their transport challenges. Working with Highways England, DfT, Transport for London, local authorities and private sector clients, we analyse all kinds of schemes from road investment and new railways to bus rapid transit and transport technology projects. We advise on everything from project costs and benefits to the best options and new ways to unlock investment.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to:
 
• Take responsibility for teams delivering technical work
• Mentor team members, continuing to develop and enhance a successful team 
• Oversee the financial / commercial management of projects
 
 
Essential Criteria
 
• Proven track record in applying a range of relevant analytical techniques to meet varying client / project requirements on a diverse range of projects including experience using analytical and research tools such as databases;
• Strong awareness and proficiency in a range of modelling / assessment tools such as TUBA, MOIRA, transport models and bespoke spreadsheet modelling;
• Solid capability in applying transport economic appraisal techniques, tools and guidance 
• Acumen in developing appropriate solutions to project challenges and enthusiasm for innovation
• Excellent analytical, numeracy and problem solving skills
• The ability to work effectively within a team
• Good organisational, time and budget management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Numerate, economics or transport related degree subject and ideally a relevant post graduate qualification
• Dynamic, enthusiastic, proactive and passionate about transportation.
