Transport Coordinator (Fixed Term)

Job Description

Estate Management are looking to recruit a Transport Coordinator to join the Environment and Energy Section which provides strategic direction to the University on environmental sustainability issues.

Within this fixed term position the role holder will support the Transport Manager in implementing the University's Transport Strategy and North West Cambridge Development (NWCD) Framework Travel Plan.

Key elements of the role will include:

  • The management and implementation of transport procedures and travel plans to encourage a more sustainable approach to travel throughout Cambridgeshire
  • Implementation of the residential Personalised Travel Planning programme for NWCD
  • Delivery  of a wide range of communication and engagement initiatives across the University and the NWCD

Ideally, you will have a degree, and experience of managing sustainable transport projects is essential, along with the confidence to encourage and influence a wide and varied audience.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 23 January 2022 in the first instance.
