What we do:
“One of the really great things about working at AECOM is the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of work for varied and high profile clients. I am able to take responsibility to progress the projects and schemes from concepts through to realistic and achievable schemes for our clients. The work is fulfilling and I feel that I am allowed to take responsibility and to make a difference.”
In the spirit of AECOM trying to ‘deliver a better world’ we seek to improve the transport of today for a better tomorrow. To achieve this we work collaboratively and creatively to serve our clients alongside our 20+ transport planning colleagues in our Birmingham office and with the rest of the teams in the UK and Ireland as well as colleagues worldwide.
We have:

• Exciting projects (some not so exciting, let’s be honest) to work on ranging from local, national and international problems to solve to keep you busy
• A flexible working policy – work/life balance is the key! We would also consider the role on either a full or part-time basis and are happy to look at a range of different working patterns
• Dedicated mentors to help support you in your future training
• A Sports & Social Club, offering a wide range of activities to suit the wide range of people and interests across the office
• A comprehensive internal training programme to teach you what you may want to learn but haven’t had the chance to yet
• And last but not least, a free, on-site gym to help you stay fit and healthy
