WSP's Super Red Army win the 2019 TPS Pub Quiz

TPS supports NICE report on Air Quality

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has issued an updated quality standard, supported by TPS, on outdoor air pollution recommending that authorities assess planning applications and consider how the effects of traffic-related air pollution may affect local communities.

The Transport Knowledge Hub/KPMG has published a report on Integrating the Planning and Development of Sustainable Transport with New Housing Development which  identifies an eight-point plan to help overcome these barriers and secure the full benefits of new housing as Government target 300,000 new homes a year.

 

New Policy Briefings on Transport and Climate Change

Friends of the Earth has teamed up with Transport for Quality of Life to map out through a series of briefings what a new transport strategy needs to include. The first three briefings were published last week.

TPS Response to Legal Regulation of AVR

TPS has submitted its views to a consultation by the Law Commission and the Scottish Law Commission on the Legal Regulation of Automated Road Vehicles. The consultation addressed a wide variety of potential legal issues surrounding automated vehicles (AV), addressing responsibilities and liabilities in a variety of scenarios.
 

A royal celebration of 20 years of ITP
