Project appraisal is a critical aspect of transport project delivery and a key decision making tool for transport planners. Effective project appraisal informs policy makers as to the economic value of a project and enables a clear comparison of projects under one consistent measurement.

This Transport Planning Society event provides an overview of project appraisal requirements in Ireland, project appraisal methods, case studies and resources.
