Why are transport planners still here? 2nd March 2017

The controversially entitled blog by James Gleave of Transport Futures poses some very fundamental questions about the role of transport planning today. We have invited James to present the arguments contained in his blog, and Tom Van Vuren of Mott MacDonald has offered to respond in defence of the efforts of the profession. John Dales, outgoing chair of the TPS, will chair the event and reflect on how TPS can support the work of transport planners and decision-makers around the country.

This event is preceded by the TPS Annual General Meeting, and is expected to start at 18:45. Please note that the AGM is for TPS Members only but the talk afterwards is open to all.
